This Garrett turbo is a brand new stock turbocharger for the 6.7 Powerstroke. Garrett Motion is the original equipment manufacturer for the factory turbos on the Ford Powerstroke diesel line of vehicles. This turbocharger is a brand-new replacement for the factory turbo in your truck and features easy installation to connect to all your stock equipment. If you are in need of a replacement turbo or simply want to upgrade your 2011-2014 to the newer style, then this turbo is the one for you!
F-Series pickup trucks from the 2015 and 2016 model year will need to have the pedestal conversion kit to install this turbo. (Select model year to see options or click the link above.)
*You will be responsible for any updated calibrations / tuning that may be needed.
EXHAUST BRAKES: We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.
**These turbos are manufactured for the F250 and F350 trucks, will not fit F450 and F550 Cab & Chassis trucks. If you have a 2011-2014 model year 6.7 Powerstroke you will need a retrofit kit in order to install this turbo. If you have a 2015-2016 model year 6.7 Powerstroke you will need a pedestal conversion kit to install this turbo.
