5.9 24 Valve VP44 Cummins Cylinder Head

  • 100% New cylinder head, machined and assembled in the USA
  • Heavy Duty hardened valve seats to prevent cracking.
  • ALL KDD Cummins heads come o-ringed, standard, to prevent head gasket failure.  (Optional fire ring available, call for details)
  • 100lb HD valve springs, standard
  • USA made Stainless Steel, nitrided valves, standard 
  • All finish machine work performed in house, on state of the art CNC Machines, assembled by hand, right here in NC
  • Screw in freeze plugs under valve cover to prevent water and oil mixing.
  • No Core Charge/No Return Shipping
  • 12 month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

KDD 100% New Cummins Cylinder Head – Built for Power, Precision, and Durability

Crafted from 100% new castings and proudly machined and assembled in-house in North Carolina, our Cummins cylinder heads are engineered to outperform and outlast. Every head features heavy-duty hardened valve seats to resist cracking under extreme conditions, and comes o-ringed as standard to help eliminate head gasket failures.  KDD’s hardened steel o-ringed heads install just like factory, with factory style head gasket, and DON’T require any hot retorque, simply follow the fsctory or ARP head torquing proceedure. (optional fire ring setup available, not recommended for street use, fire rings recommended for competition use only, requires hot re-torques and requires alternate head gasket—call for details regarding fire rings).

We include 100lb heavy-duty valve springs and USA-made stainless steel, nitrided valves as standard equipment—no hidden upcharges or compromises. All final machining is performed on state-of-the-art CNC equipment, followed by expert hand assembly to ensure the highest level of precision and reliability - each head is checked for proper valve recession, spring pressure and valve/seat sealing to ensure trouble free installation and years of reliable service.
